My name is Binoy Jose. Born in Kerala, the southern most state of India way back in January 31, 1972, I had my schooling at Cherthala, my home town. Graduated in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala. Professionally I am associated with NTPC Ltd, A Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking of Indiaengaged in Electricity Generation and associated business. After initial training, I was posted to Talcher Super Thermal Power Project in Angul District in the Indian state of Orissa in 1995. During my stay there, it grew to India's then largest power plant with a capacity of 3000 MW (6x500 MW Units). In 2006, I was sponsored for a post graduation course at Indian Institute of Technology. I completed regular M.Tech Course in Power Generation Technology at IIT, Delhi in May 2008. Subsequently I was posted as Manager (C&I-Erection) at Simhadri Super Thermal Power Project which is about 50 km from Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. In March 2009 I was promoted to the next grade (Senior Manager). After completion of Simhadri Stage - II consisting of two units of 500 MW coal based power plants, I have been transferred to Thiruvananthapuram office in December 2012. Reached Telangana 2 x 800 MW construction in 2021 after spending 6 years at 360 MW Naphtha based Kayamkulam Project
